gold and silver?

does anyone on here deal with these? im thinking about diversifying my stuff and wanted to look into buying a few troy ounces of either one

it looks like silver is significantly cheaper. what other precious metals do folks collect? i can order offline but wanted other folks opinions on where to get it from

damn straight. this has been my go to method but i cant fit 1K of ammo easily into a lock box

gold and silver have been good investments for about the past couple thousand years i dont think it would hurt to buy some now . but in all seriousness they generally are a good investment that you can turn to cash even faster than firearms just watch the prices and make sure you are getting a decent deal. I tend to like buying silver myself as it just feels rewarding to have a huge chunk of silver vs a single ounce of gold

Get the real stuff.................no "mailed to you" certificates. Even with that have it assayed, lots of fake coming in from overseas now. [wink]

yup. im not going to buy a ****load. just have some to hold onto. i was given 5 silver ounce coins and it is a nice feeling for sure

ya i have heard about fakes. this is why im asking for reputable sources
