Fathers Day is the 19th of June and BOS reduces your ability to sell the rifle
What he said. Completely your right to set whatever stipulations you want for your sale, but you will greatly reduce your potential pool of buyers asking for all of that. It's not required by law. I especially wouldn't worry about it for a muzzle loader. Welcome though.

Huge debate on BOS and their is a meme. I would say its split like 80/20 maybe. Most people don't think it helps or gives you protections. Some people do think it helps and shows if you sold it where it went.
Get to know people and things seem to sell better once people know and trust you more.
