Palmetto State Armory and JSE Surplus both have good sales on uppers right now. PSA has a chrome lined 16" upper less bolt and CH for $299 plus shipping, direct to your door. JSE has a complete chrome lined 16" upper for $415 plus shipping, with your choice of 1:7 or 1:9 twist. PSA usually sells out in a hurry. JSE has a counter that indicates how many in stock.
BTW PSA also has their complete assembled lower for $239.00.
