Good Gunsmith

Another vote for Accurate Ordnance. Bolt guns are what they do. Worth a trip out there. Amazing stuff in there. Leave your wallet in your car.
Dave and Jason do top notch work and Mark understands what customer service is all about.

No doubt..
It just seemed by your post you went out of your way...
No problems.. I may have taken it wrong...

I'm sorry if you felt a slight, I can assure you none was intended!

Unfortunately, some forums and their members feel competative with other forums and their members.
Thankfully, ODT, its members and management isn't one of them !!!

Knowledge is all over the Internet (not all of it is good!)
If I'm able, I will share what I know with others (but will always try to quote the source so that it's authenticity can be verified).

Kindest Regards,

Earl Clark - Cumming, Ga

I dont think was saying you shouldnt quote info from GON, but he is saying that you "seem " to make a big deal to let us know the info is comeing from GON. Like you said, we dont care whwere the info comes from if its good info.

Thanks for shareing the info with us!

I am considering having some work done on a Remington 700 rifle. Nothing major, just a trigger job and possibly replacing the recoil lug before bedding the stock. Do you guys have any recomendations on a good gunsmith around the Dacula/Lawrenceville area? Any advise is appreciated and thanks.

Give Hogleg Smith a call up in Oakwood. Although he now caters to the Cowboy Action Shooting crowd, he used to build custom rifles. You can reach him at: 770-503-7572. I can't vouch for his rifle work, but he slicked up a couple of revolvers for me and did good work.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I had seen Accurate Ordnance doing an online search, buy didn't know anything about them. I'm going to send them an email and see what the price will be. I also want to contact Hogleg Smith. A guy named Hogleg is bound to know alot about guns. I'll keep you guys posted on what I find out and especially any work I have done. Thanks again guys.
