Good quality semi-auto shotgun recommendations?

"Too Much Work"?!?! LMAO! I am the POSTER CHILD for the "Work Smart, Not Hard" Movement, but it only takes me about TEN MINUTES to do a "Regular" cleaning of my 1100's & 11-87's--'Bout once a year, I will do a "Deep Cleaning", takes about 20 or 25 minutes--A VERY Worthwhile Trade-off for the LIGHTEST-KICKING Semiauto Shotgun ever built!... :) ....mikey357
Unless you are in the middle of nowhere when it needs to be done.

Unless you are in the middle of nowhere when it needs to be done.

How are you going to carry 2,500 rounds of shotgun ammo into the middle of nowhere? Or do you not clean your guns until they start jamming? Hey let's carry this shotgun that hasn't been properly cleaned for 11 years into the middle of nowhere...:noidea:

Ok. Went through the same decision making process a couple of weeks ago. Finally decided on the Franchi Affinity 12 gauge. Comes with 3 chokes. Mine came in Maxx5 HD camo. Been through several boxes of shells and not one hick up. The gun is also a little lighter than the others in the same arena and handles well. I recommend the Franchi Affinity all the way. Hope this helps!

A gun is a tool to me. I use it up and get another one. Every min I spend dicking with it is a minute that I could be doing something more profitable.

Take care of one CORRECTLY, and I doubt seriously you could "Use It Up" anytime soon...Seems to me to be a rather small price to pay for the SOFTEST-SHOOTING Semiauto Shotgun ever made...YMMV, of course....mikey357

Seriously, an 1100 needs to be taken apart and cleaned what, every few thousand rounds? I was amazed how clean mine was when I took it apart for the first time.
I ran over 25,000 shells thru mine in less than a year and only had to replace the O-ring once. Can't kill these guns. Not much to keeping them clean either. a swab and I'm done.
