Awesome job. He handled it as good as could be expected. I hate that he was so distraught he dropped his weapon and walked away but taking a life isn't something everyone is Ok with.

Speaks volumes to police/citizen relations and even race relations. White officer, black attacker and black armed citizen comes to the officer's aid and uses deadly force against the attacker. Normal, average good people can get along and help each other when needed if we can keep the PC crowd and hate mongers out of the equation.
