I picked up some faded and tarnished old school slots for my Cj. I figure a looooot of time with Mothers mag polish and maybe an orbital buffer will get these back into shape but was hoping maybe someone has a super duper, easy ,no sweat trick to restore the shine. (I can hope!) Any sort of blasting (sand, walnut, soda) that would restore a shine?

Those are badly oxidized. You'll need an acidic cleaner, such as Eagle 1, for non-clear coat wheels. Then you can use a Mother's power ball, in a drill, with polish made specifically for bare aluminium. And a 12-pack of cold beer.

Cool! I have most of that stuff now. All I need to get is the acidic cleaner, power ball, drill and the polish.
