Got any old mag rim cleanup and restore tips?

have fun then, if Juan didn't wanna fool with them you know it's way too much work. I had a set of polished wheels on my K-5 when I bought it, years of neglect left them faded and pitted. I tried everything polish wise and never got them to shine, finally took them to a company with a tumbler, believe it was steel balls and let them machine polish them. They turned out nice but not worth it unless the wheels are free, Maintaining that luster is just as much a challenge after you get it back.

This is the look I'm going for. (or as close as possible) Gonna give one a bath and start polishing tomorrow and see how it goes.

Mount the wheels on the rear axle, leave it jacked up. Start it, put it in gear and put just a dab of wheel polish on a very cheap paper towel and just put your hand on the wheel as it spins at 25-40 mph- thats the optimum polishin speed.
Drink large quantities of beer before and after, and everything will go exceptionally well....

In case there are any numbskulls raedin this, Dont do that.
