Got carded at AS

That is crazy. After all i have heard about their "new" polices i will just not set foot in their stores to avoid the headache and frustration woth stupidity and ignorance. And of course to make sure they no longer get any of my money.

I never get carded at the AS in Auburn. Employees usually don't care; it's a low-paying job and they're just around to make a few bucks.

You probably got some new guy that was trying to play by the rules to the letter, or some long-term employee that everyone else at the store hates with a passion.

Poor guy was just trying to do his job and enforce the company policy. Better off writing a letter to corporate if you disagree than to make yourself look foolish arguing with him. Isn't a projectile a component of ammunition anyway?
I disagree. I think you should call out that poor salesman till smoke comes out his ears or he cries.
I'd have to find a real job if the company policy was like that.
Maybe construction or landscaping. Truck driver, something man-like, bodywork perhaps.

Fluffer possibly if sailing boolits makes you cry

To be fair, if you ask the Cartersville gun counter employees, they will take the lock off and let you try the trigger. Still annoying.
