Got carded at AS

TO be fair, if you ask the Cartersville gun counter employees, they will take the lock off and let you try the trigger. Still annoying.
The guy wouldn't do it for me but I'm big and scary so maybe the little guy felt like I was going to beat him with it.. But damn good price on a Ruger 1911

as long as you feel better now! Arguing a corporate policy with a store level employee in my opinion is futile. For all we know he may completely agree with you but like I said he just doing his job.
I totally understand "policy" and respect it as well . What I don't have tolerance for is knowing the difference and laws in what they are even selling , I call that ignorance , Remember I dealt with 2 managers not just the cashier

but your argument is with the "policy" so why not take your beef to the people who wrote the "policy" is all I'm saying

I do like AS as their prices are great on most items and I frequent them as well since they are close ...This is why it really rubbed me raw this time

not even relevant

How so? They're both lead with little bits of other materiel's attached to them. And I get their policy, but they need to know what their products are. I've worked retail and retail management, if they don't know what's in the store they're not doing their job.

I hope they had that perplexed look on their faces too.
If they understood what you were saying all it would take is saying "I understand, take it or leave it."

Yep. I was in there the other day and no one was at the gun counter when I walked up. I had to ask the guy working "So, taken a lot of grief with the AR15 debacle?" He just shook his head and looked away. He was furious and you could tell he was told to not say ANYTHING, EITHER WAY. I just smiled and asked if they had been selling any. He said yes. Immediately a couple came up and I started looking at ammo. Literally within 20 seconds I heard the tell tell sound of 'that' action closing and looked over and the couple was fondling an AR. They have them stacked right there behind the counter in full view. They just don't have them in the display rack.

My point being is the manager could not even distinguish "their policy" as he didn't even know the difference between "ammo" ,and "projectiles" ...I doubt he would risk his job breaking "policy" if I did not make him understand the difference and logic ... They have signs above the ammo, powder , primers and firearms explaining the laws and their policies BUT NOT projectiles which are less dangerous than the racks of knives and fish hooks .
