Governor's Gun Club-Kennesaw. 1st Impression

How could you POSSIBLY give them a good review when they don't allow 7.62x54R on the range???

You're slipping alleycat alleycat !

:p

No steel is kinda bummer, too.

Buddy of mine went by earlier in the week and had a positive impression as well. They are really going for the country club feel. I'm glad I'm a good distance away otherwise I could see that place being somewhat of a habit...

Yeah i asked about that...... Its that whole steel core ammo and the potential for eqpt damage thing. I don't like it but i do understand the concern.

I would love to try the indoor skeet range!
At $12, it's twice the price of the Fulton Co. government-owned range off Camp Creek Parkway, but for me Kenny Saw is a lot closer. And, I just think it would be cool to shoot indoors. (In the summer, with the A/C running, it may be "cooler" literally as well).

The AC was really nice in there

Plus you have to shoot their ammo. makes it almost a $1 a shot.

My first thought is screw that ! But then I’m thinking that’s a LOT of money invested and I would not want some dumb a$$ tearing it up with heavy ammo ! I remember once going to the Powder Springs range and some jackass came in and was going to shoot green tip ! I ratted him out before he could use it !
