The 150gr was just spat out to show YOU weight to same weight carry the same mass.

You do relieve that energy is a combination of mass (weight) and velocity, right? If it's the same weight, but higher velocity... higher energy. A lighter bullet can surpass the energy of a heavier bullet with increased velocity, but it has to be enough of an increase in velocity to do it and the 270 doesn't have that in comparison to a 30-06.

Bottom line, in a fair comparison, the 30-06 carries more energy and is a more powerful round than the 270.

Getting back to the Governor's club, never been, probably never will. The advertising gives off an aura of "shotgunner's snobbery" similar to what used to be common at the old Riverbend.
