I went once. Stayed in one of the cabins in the park. The mule ride was closed so we only got to look. I wouldn't have made the weight limit on the mules anyway. Really, REALLY liked Zion.

We lived in Albuquerque NM in the mid-90's - spent all of our spare time exploring -

Grand Canyon was on the list - one of my most compelling memories is watching a young oriental girl, likely all of 90 pounds, standing far too close to the edge in winds gusting 60 mph, and me thinking that she would take flight anytime...
