Grandfather is wanting to know the values of his old collection.
The Colt Single Action Army was produced in 1903 and was modified to shoot .22 back in 1941.
The Winchester 94 Carbine was produced around 1940.

What are they worth and can the Colt be restored back to shoot .45 from its current lowly state?

Ouch! on the Colt, I'm guessing the barrel was toast on it before it was emasculated. Would give a $600 around about figure on the 94 assuming it's in 30 WCF/30/30. Other calibers would make it more desirable. I'm sure a good gunsmith could probably machine out the metal in the cylinders but having it re-rifled on the Colt would be iffy.

Usually don't like colts messed with, but I'd leave it that way. 22 rim fires are extremely rare especially if Colt did the work. The pistol has already been changed and if you don't have the original parts, I don't think it would change the value much

I would say they are worth whatever he wants you to pay for them, but those would be awesome to be kept in the family. I have really cool and expensive stuff but my favorite gun is one my grandpa paid I think $26 for back 75 years ago. Wouldn’t trade it for the world

I would check Turnbull for restoration options too.
