Kind of forgot about this box of stuff I brought home twenty something years ago from the grandparents house after they had passed. That Shakespeare "President" reel looks brand new.

The couple of rods that came with it look pretty rough though.
Just cool old stuff, Thanks Grandpa!!

Anybody else have any treasures like this?

PAL M1 Garand bayonet my grandfather gave me. I asked him once if he ever had to fix bayonets (glider troop, D-Day) and he said no. I asked him what he did when he ran out of ammo? He said, "I sat my butt right there in that foxhole until the Sergeant brought me some more." LOL.

Yep, I have a Shakespeare 1909 or 1919 reel like yours on the left, and a similar Brook reel. I have a Creek Chub cork lure like yours. He had a Winchester bamboo fly rod in an aluminum rod case, but when I opened it, the rod came out in splinters. The Winchester rods are worth money. I'm still surprised that the reels have no real value. The Creek Chub is worth more.
