Looks like you need to do a write up on this product. It sounds good to me, seems that it would be a good alternative to a grip stipple for the long hot days at the range.
Not the grip assist but the Gunskins which are a much cheaper alternative to Ceracoat or hydro dip, and is removable via a heat gun, these have been on for 2 years and show no wear or peeling,

I wouldn't be worried about it being "glass". No one complains about ZEV's silicone carbide treatment, and you can use silicone carbide to cut glass. The video made the process seem simple enough. Probably not my cup of tea, but a possibly legitimate solution to some problems.
