Grip Enhancement for $12

So I was looking online and doing some research on talon grips, being the alternative hunter I am I came upon people using 3m step tape. For $12 you get 5 yards of tape. I decided to try it and I like it so far. It has a similar rough texture to sand paper, but it is not overly gritty.

All you need is the 3m step tape, some scissors or razor blade, rubbing alcohol and wipes, and a blow dryer.

The process is fairly simple and you'll have enough left over for several of your guns or other items.

Just posting this because i thought it was kind of cool and to share for those who may not have known about this alternative.

Looks better than stippling, and can be removed if you don't like it. Not to mention that it won't reduce the value of your gun like stippling will.

Agreed, and it's affordable, not that all the other options aren't to but still.

I got some step tape at a trailer parts store that services RV's and campers. I put a strip on the bottom of the forend of my Optima muzzleloader to keep it from getting scuffed up on the shooting rails of my stands. It has been on there for about 5 years and hasn't had an edge peel loose yet.

3m has excellent tape for better grip on weapons.
