12 years later shouldn't group 3 already have a thriving community in GA? I would like to see that project successful before investing in a foreign country

Romantic idea, but I ain't leaving. I'd rather stand ground right where I'm at.
We are going to do both - keep our place here and get a place in Panama (rent out whichever we are not staying in as a short or mid-term rental). Keeps the options open.
Curious project and not a bad location. A good friend of mine was able to get in on the dual citizenship offer in Panama for his family before it was closed down a few years ago. He purchased around 25 acres up near the border with Costa Rica, a modern home and amenities. He's from the Seattle area and is now considering on getting a smaller place in GA due to the one-way frequent flights. I need to touch basis with him for any updates as he's often down in Panama as he gets close to retiring from Microsoft and doing something different...

The S is in the fan and you need a plane to Panama. That sounds like an over the top ,unrealistic action movie. Oh and dont worry about the fact that the canal is redundantly targeted by over sized payloads on the ICBMS of two enemies. It absolutley has to go in the first wave. But the coffee is fresh
