I have grown strawberries for the past few years. Somewhat successful, but I grew them on the ground. They seem pretty susceptible to rot, slugs, ants and problems when grown close to the dirt and touching the dirt. I built this tower to see if it helps this season. We’ll see… I’ll report back soon when I get it stuffed with dirt and plants. Should get around 24 plants growing. If they thrive I’ll get a lot of fruit! What do y’all think? Could also do lettuce and other things in one of these….

Cool, interested how it works out for you. We grow everbearing strawberries in the ground and have had good success with applying diatomaceous earth on the plants to combat the slugs/ants.

Thanks guys. I will post some results later this season. Hopefully I get bunches and bunches. Upta Camp, thx for the tip. I have some of that diatomaceous earth. Never thought to use it there. I always used it for roaches or ants. Will try that out if needed.
