Hey guys,
Have been out of the guitar world for a few years (though have been playing for around 20 years) and no longer have a reputable guitar tech or Amp man.
Need some guitars set/tuned up and my Fender twin reverb needs some new tubes and cleaning up as well.
Anyone know a guy who does this type of work in the metro Atlanta area? I dont trust guitar center or ken stanton types anymore. Had a 68 SG ruined years ago so I only use REAL guitar/amp experts plus I try to support small businesses as well.

Thanks

My old guitar teacher recommended Righteous Guitars. They are the only ones in GA with a PLEK machine. I'm sure they will be able to give you a good set up. They can probably refer you to an amp shop in ATL.

This is not in the Atlanta area but my friend John at The Amp Shop in Asheville NC repairs & builds custom hand built amps... He would be my first choice for amp repairs but I travel to AVL a few times a year.

Now I just need some motivation to pick up my guitar....

Good luck and Rock On!

Thanks. I've never heard of these places.

I would recommend Maple Street guitars in Buckhead for a set up, but it is Buckhead...They probably have decent amp techs too, but I'm not sure. Amp techs seems to be few and far between around here.
