Gun buy back in Dekalb

I have wondered what would happen if you sat in the parking lot and tried to buy the "good" weapons as people brought them in. Won't be any good things turned in

drop the gate on the pickup with a cardboard sign reading "$110.00 for handguns and $160.00 for assault style rifles"

I have a feeling there's going to be more ODTers in the parking lot than people trying to turn guns in. I bet it would almost turn into an auction if anything good shows up. That SKS would get bid up to 400 pretty quick.

The good news is only 20k is budgeted, that's less than 200 guns. If more people show up than that looking for money then it could be open season.

Can I get $100 for this, unless someone here would rather have it. .32 and it functions dry, I've never fired it.

Interesting old gun.

I wouldn't mind giving it a new home if the price was right. Pretty sure College Park would give you more . . :D

May be some good stuff but probably stolen.

Anyone know what the number or percentage of stolen or crime guns recovered at buybacks is? I am genuinely curious. From what I have seen, it tends to be junkers and old stuff that has been sitting in a closet forever.

Over the years I've had conflicting estimates on its value. My internet research confirms by proof marks it's turn of the century Belgium. Its referred to as a lady of the night gun, the folding trigger made it easy to tuck in a garter belt. It was a yard sale find many years ago and sits on my reloading bench as a conversation piece.
