Gun finish?

I voted "other" because I really don't care what the finish is (besides rust), as long as it goes "boom" when I pull the trigger! Reliability is upmost important to me in firearms.

I have several in each flava but I must admit that a dull or matte stainless wrapped in a black Hogue stock or grip will usually give me chub!

I love blued guns but I can remember the old nickel guns from years ago. You will never polish a stainless gun to shine like that!

You saw the finish on my Python, most folks who've seen it think it is nickle. Bright stainless man, looks like a mirror.

This is a tough one. I love the way a blues gun looks but the spray on finishes are quickly catching my eye. Their are some that are self lubricating now. I have some duracoated guns and they look cool as hell but nothing like one of my old 1911's or old S&W's.

Stainless for me. I think I can make a blued finish rust just by looking at it.
