Gun Owner Fights Unlawful “No Return” Gun Policy

So basically the article says if you live in that crap hole. Leave. If you don't live there. Don't ever, ever, ever go there. Why no boycott by gun owners? Maybe we can look at some businesses based there and form a boycott until they either move out or pressure the leaders to play nice?

For the love of Mike, what's this woman have to do to get her dang guns back... SMH!
My daughter in laws mother went through a similar situation when her husband died in his sleep a few years ago, they lived in Westchester County, NY. When the coroner came to take his body either he or a Sheriff's Deputy (I'm not clear on that) asked if her husband owned any firearms and she said yes, she didn't know what was about to happen to her. Her husband even had a carry permit if you can believe that in NY! They made her hand over his guns, a couple of handguns and shotguns. She had to get a lawyer to get those guns back and it took over a year and a bunch of money but she eventually did get them back. She's looking for a place in either North or South Carolina on a beach to move to and get the hell outta NY where she was born and has lived her whole life. Crazy stuff man, absolutely insane!

Sounds like Dekalb county. Some members have stated that when a car is searched in Dekalb or gwinett, and a firearm is found with the owner having no carry permit, the police ask for proof of purchase,. If you cannot provide a receipt for the gun, they take it.

Guess they don't believe in due process. That sounds like Nazi Germany.

The trouble (one of) with government, is they can fight the citizens all day long, with the citizens money, imposing the standards and beliefs of individuals in the government. This is a burden on both the individual being persecuted who has to spend their own private funds to fight the government action, a burden on the collective tax paying citizenry who must support the legal actions of the government even as they morally oppose it and causes no undue trouble or expense for those individuals in government who institute and promote the illegal, immoral actions against the citizen, they in fact get paid to do it. If government officials were made to pay personally when they violate the rights of a citizen by paying any court costs and punitive fines it would put a stop to this crap and give us people in appointed, hired and elected office who were more concerned about representing the public and not making the world we live in conform to their will. Government, on most every level, in most every locale, sucks in this country.

There is no accountability, until there is it will continue.

I hear story after story of citizen's rights being violated then to add insult to their injury the government entity uses their and other citizen's tax money to litigate. Most locals have provisions to pay their legal cost (if the citizen wins) but even if they win, they pay (their taxes) and the rest of the citizen's pay.

It's socialism/communism but they don't acknowledge it.

Oh and the Nazi party is consistently referred to in media and socialist as the "hard right wing party" in a lie as they can't tolerate the truth.

The National Socialist German Workers' Party=NAZI...

Hard to believe that crap can happen in America!! What is our country coming to?
It's not coming to anything, it's what has happened on our watch. It's the main reason for us folks down here in GA to join the NRA. I sure hope gun owners if free states can shake the attitude that gun rights in political cesspools like MA, CA, and NY are beyond hope. Many gun owners are stuck behind enemy lines, and it's best for all of us if we don't abandon them. Anti-gun politicians in these states/cities have taken some pretty awesome parts of the US away from good, honest, law abiding americans, and that's bs. We can't concede defeat on these fronts, and we should be awfully careful about the language we use when describing these places. We're americans, and these places are part of america, same as georgia. We have to remember that and keep fighting.
