Gun part stippling?

What kind of implement do you guys use to stipple the polymer parts. I want small size stipple size do dads. What about one off those little L shipped picks.. heated up then just touch the gripe with the tip, to desired depth. Or how do you guys accomplish your job 4

I was thinking blow torch to save my thumb from repeated punishment but I didn't think of the fork. Excellent recommendation. Four marks at once.

Yeah, you'll get far better consistency from a one of these than using a flame to heat metal directly.
