Gun part stippling?

I was thinking. I have Dremel bits that are tiny cone shaped and very sharp tipped. I mean they are tiny bit heads and would work perfect. The very sharp tip would prevent walking and make quick work of each cavity. Why wouldn't some like that work.

The reason I was referencing silicone carbide is because they do make Dremel bits from that material.

I have some strips of grip tape but it's a textured polymer and less aggressive in the skin while still providing excellent anti-slip characteristics. I thought that some minor stippling on the recessed areas would help a little as well.

These three tips would be faster than heating up a object and be more precise and a more refined look. I would guess since I haven't tried it yet.

Y'all might be surprised with the first and second tip. Those 'ball grinders' really can walk if you're not careful.

The biggest determinant of that 'refined look' is going to be the consistency of spacing and depth.
