Remington 760 Carbines. Early years! All the different calibers, .30-06, .270, .280, .308. All have killed numerous deer while in my hands!

A 1961 model would be a real find. It only was made in limited quantity and with the ADL wood. I think they made about 250 of them in 1961. Very, very sweet rifle.

They weren't made again until 1964 with the press checkered wood.

There were only 1,200 .280 Rem models made total.

Here's my grandfather's m1 carbine.

My uncle "secured" the ammo back in the day when he was a range officer in the Air Force. I guess he never got caught, he retired a full bird.

Here is a rare one. Vented ribbed barrel and ported as well. Letter from Colt saying it's one of 12 shipped this way.

Man, if this were a Smith it would be incredible.

But since it's a Colt, it's cool!
