You've been hunting in the wrong places. I've been in buck brush that was like walking through a concrete wall and it was so high you couldn't see the sun. The brush in GA doesn't grow like that. In yankeeville, when a farm shuts down it turns to crap. There are definitely calibers that work better in those places. Mowing down the enemy is quite different than making a well placed humane shot on an animal.
