If you have a military ID you can go on base and buy guns, no tax, I have got many there, just pick up a Spk 5 H&K there

Do they carry that there?

Dang man, that is a serious long drive. I go to it bc I'm very local and it gives me something to do. But I think you're gonna be disappointed after driving such a long way. However...

If you have time, I can recommend 2 places you should try to stop at if you can make time. Howard's Pawn in Macon and Barrow Automotive (it's an auto parts store/gun shop) in Butler. Howard's closes at 4 on Saturday...not sure of Barrow's hours...

Also, if you're gonna make a long drive for a gun show, the best one is the Expo in Atlanta...at least I think that's the name of it. Maybe someone else will chime in and correct me...

If you're traveling through, Chuck's Gun and Pawn in Warner Robins has some pretty good prices too.

Thanks for the info on the military discount that'll help if I do get something. I may stop at everything along the way. I will hold over in Adairsville the night before the show. (that where I'm from originally) So the drive isn't terrible and I'm sure I wont see much but with all the recommendations yall made we should stay busy for at least the day.
