“Come on up in here; I got something for you,” the woman can be heard saying to the alleged burglar.
“When you come down them stairs, I’m gonna blow your d--- brains out,” the woman said. “I’m waiting for ya.”

Good stuff. Firearms have done more for equality than any politician/social justice warrior could hope to claim credit for. I think it's a point often missed or just not understood by the anti gun crowd.

For example, I have a friend that is an ex wrestler. TV kind. Guy is like 6'4" and a solid 360. Take that guy and put him in the middle ages and he would have been the master of the shield wall, a rich lord, had his pick of women (willing or not), owned land, etc all due to a monopoly on force, size and strength. That same guy today was an entertainer and eventual bouncer in a bar living in a small apartment.

Why? Because firearms destroyed his monopoly on force. A great grandma in her living room like the one in this news report has the ability to lay that guy flat with an easily obtainable firearm and a modicum of skill. Equality. Due to firearms and the 2nd amendment we no longer have to bow to a monopoly on force from someone who is bigger, stronger or otherwise able to force us with the threat of physical violence. We have the ability to insist our well being and actions are governed by our consent. Firearms and our right to them have done wonders for human society and it's sad that point is missed by so many.
