Just a friendly reminder to all of those whose browse gunbroker.

1. Know your adult beverage limit beyond which you make rash decisions.

2. Avoid browsing after said number of beverages late at night.

3. If you failed to meet the previous 2 conditions, for pities sake check how MANY numbers you typed into your impulse bid before shutting down and going to sleep. You may end up owning something you didn't expect, at a price even more unexpected !! That extra 0 can lead to a rude surprise in the morning.

Ask me how I know.......

amen. i bought a set of grips on ebay once because the extra zero allowed the price ot climb ever higher. I caught a break because the grips were mislabeled and would not fit the pistol listed - whew!

It's so damned aggravating that they do this, but momo buyers in states that do not participate in that program do not understand (or care) that a private seller MUST collect the sales tax from them because gunbroker collects it FROM the SELLER (whether or not the numpty in another state pays the seller).
