Looking for a smithy that actually knows how to work on one.

Art Isaacson is the Browning shotgun guru. I think he's a little ways outside St. Louis so not in GA. I believe he worked for Browning for years before going out on his own. My old Superposed looked absolutely like new when he returned it to me. I think I paid about 60 bucks in postage both ways...He might be worth a look: https://artsgunshop.com/

unless you have a sentimental attachment to it, a Citori is not worth the cost of rebuilding. Most Citoris that have been "shot loose" have been ruined by their owners repeatedly slamming the action closed instead of merely closing it. Kept oiled and cleaned and using good ammo, it would take several hundred thousand rounds to wear out a Citori. I have had many such "attachments" myself.

Bill Schwartz in Elijay is another gunsmith up to the task

Slamming a nice shotgun together, slamming a nice revolver cylinder closed or snatching th hammer back on a nice revolver are like scratching a chalk board to me.
