Good news. Thank you, Sam!
If you have moment to relax, go hike the Flattop. Follow signs on the rode, once you get to Upper Huffman, GPS is not always correct.
Spectacular views of Anchorage. Road will be closed, once snow hits in 2 weeks.

Don't do the hike without a .44 mag,,,

I will be here in Alaska until he is released from the hospital no definite time line
My routine is get up go to hospital
I would love someday to come back and visit and explore but
This trip is just to get him better

I did go to his barracks today and got him some shorts and t shirts

Then I went grocery shopping and stocked him up
And I cleaned his room

I’ve just been on base but the views are amazing it is beautiful here.

I’ll try pull over Tommorow on my way to the hospital and take some pics

Appreciate everyone’s prayers

LOl ,just like Mom to clean his room so he doesn`t have to get his butt outta bed....:). Speedy recovery to Clarence.

I've run into bears a time or two on that hike. Not too bad. Now, if you go down from the parking lot and do the Powerline Pass to go to the lakes, you WILL run into bears. Last time I did that, we ran into mom and 2 cubs.
