It's a nice range with covered fireing points which helps in the heat of the summer.
If you want to shoot at 1000yds there's only a few in Ga that I know of :
Cool acres ; Ft Gordon ;and I heard Blakley may be back?

Blakely is back, Its called Arena now
They have a wind reading class comming up that is taught by the NRA long range National Champion Mr John Widden. The one I went to had class room and range instruction it was worth the money.
That's good news ,any word on upcoming matches? I did a search for Arena and all I get is a Texas range.

Sounds good. I'll watch out for his classes, and this range. I'm still in the market for the right rifle build, so I need to get that part completed first. I appreciate the info. Does this guy teach there often?

I do have a question. I'm researching what I should invest in. What is your suggestion for barrel length and caliber? Any particular manufacturers you'd invest in. I think I'm gonna do this right from the start.
