Kind of like someone starting a thread asking opinions on a Sig or HK, and inevitably a Glock is thrown in.
Then the 1911 fanboys start screeching

Can't believe that was modded outMan, my post was removed... That was comedy GOLD right there... haha
Hey, stop trying to hijack this and turn it into a FS postlook to the left. See the G21 45ACP . Makes a great nightstand piece , especially with the night sights and a rail for a light. Just a little too large for me as a CC weapon. G19 for CC.
Worrying about which is a better man stopper, when our chances of having to stop a man is less than winning the lottery... and by better, we are talking like small differences... seems silly.
It’s like reading a motorcycle review of the new crop of sport bikes and they talk about how one is so much faster... meanwhile, the differences between the slowest and fasted bike, is less than a second per lap... and that’s with a pro racer, race slicks, tire warmers and ideal conditions... the reality is that in the real world, there’s no difference...
9mm is more than up to the task of getting the job done, and when you can carry more rounds and have easier follow up shots from less recoil, any nominal differences in terminal ballistics are all but negated, IMHO...
Sure the fbi and police need lots of rounds bc they need to arrest or kill the bg. Joe citizen only needs a to stop an attack. JC won't be chasing down the bg to make an arrest. Carry all the round and spare mags you feel gives you an advantage. It is extremely unlikely one is going to need 17 rounds to stop an attack on the street. Watch the videos of home invasion and armed robberies and what happens as soon as the good guys starts shooting.( the bad guys run). There are exception. I have seen Neighbors have a problem and when somebody gets shot another family member picks up the fight. Of course then u are home and most likely have access to a long gun.The entire argument of stopping power out of a standard pistol cartridge is a joke. You put the round where it needs to be, person goes down. You don't, and they don't go down. Pretty simple. So, carry what you are comfortable shooting and can more accurate rounds on target with. That's why the FBI and other agencies dropped the 40 for the 9. More rounds and more rounds put on a target accurate.
You carry a 5.7 regularly? I've often wondered how that would work. How much is ammo for that?I prefer my FN 5.7, 20 rounds, very easy to carry & shoot. I almost forget I am even carrying it.
