In # 2, here's the story,
Several years ago, a friend that was into Black Powder always set off stuff for New Years, this one year he had a "Brilliant: " idea.
He had a 150# crossbow. He decided to launch a BP filled arrow, the arrow, about 14" held a LOT of powder, I'd guesstimate. Then he he pulled trigger the 150# bow caused the arrow to flex, right at the punched fuse hole, well it broke and released all the powder for a huge explosion/fireball in his face, singing most hair off and giving him "freckles" of little pieces of the green aluminum arrow. The safety glasses were also covered with embedded green aluminum. I pulled most of it out with tweezers' he left the rest for combat storys/lies later on. It was the largest firework in the neighborhood that year.
