SGAmmo has a really good sale on Federal 115gr hps right now. $7/20. Not terrible. Just got a nice heavy box off the brown truck yesterday. I like a 70/30 mix of fmj to hp ammo for handguns.

is that stuff semi jacketed or what?

i was thinking of getting some for the hell of it. normally i just stock FMJ for the long storage stuff since its mostly range ammo anyhow

How much ammo do you need? How many rounds do you think you can get off before the Mrap rolls through your home to confinscate your okra?

This happens ever 12 years'ish. Surplus ammo that was being sold at $1.00 a box is now $7.00 box/20. 2 or 3 years down the road it will all be sold at garage and estate sales for less than what was paid by guys who's need money to get married again. Reloading equiptment will be rusted and dirty demanding top prices. We'll see junk on fleabay listed as "RARE".

A person should have on hand at least 500 rounds per firearm. This way when you decide to sell it the new owner has a few cartridges to shoot.

We are sitting on piles of cheap guns and ammunition (aside from .22lr) right now. All of the calibers that were previously difficult to get, are easy to obtain locally or online. Guns are as cheap or cheaper than they have been for years, save Colt snake guns and a few others.

Is anyone still sitting on just 100 rounds of 9mm, 2 mags of .223, and a box of .380?

Is anyone that has been wanting an AR still waiting for prices to drop even lower?

$6.99 AR mags at PSA....do you think there will ever be a time when there is a mag scare again?

There will always be "another scare," and another run on the weapon/ammo market. The way I justify purchases with my wife, " We might need this _______x_______ one day and if we don't we can always sale/trade it for something else."
