Has there ever been a bad BBQ joint thread here?

They are closed, and the joint was mediocre or bad sometimes. The pork chop, though. Dammitboy, that was special. I would get one of those, no sides, and another two to go for me and the wife for supper. God I miss that smoked hunk o deliciousness

Wish I had tried the pork chop then. BBQ was atrocious. Brunswick stew was vile. I would rather eat potted meat with crackers.

One reason I like Jomar's. You can smell the hickory and the meat in the parking lot way before you walk in the door. Plus they have a 20 layer caramel iced cake sometimes.

Hickory House somewhere near Atlanta. No flavor and leaves you wanting BBQ

Oglethorpe BBQ in Oglethorpe (thats in Macon County). The food is cheap but it has no flavor. There is no smoke flavor at all. The sides were eh my son said the pickle they serve on the side was the best part of the meal. Its cheap.
