Only issues I have had was out of Non-Glock mags and/or weak mag springs.

I have shot a buddies G27 that "wouldn't feed for *#%!". I fired several mags out of it without fail and handed it back to him. I believe it was too much gun for him.

My wife's had a few hiccups when brand new, called Glock-mailed spring to me, no issues since...Mine has never had any issues, probably 2500 rounds through it...both are Gen4 G19's...others may be "better" or stylistic but function over form for us...It is time to get back to the range and do some training...

I have a Glock 22 gen 3. Shoots fine. Never a problem so far. And my wife shot it too. No ftf's at all. We shoot only factory ammo. But the thing that sets Glock apart is there service. Factor that in to the price of the handgun. When I first got my LE trade in I took it straight to Glock and they replaced some internals, (don't remember what) and one old magazine. Anything ever goes wrong with your gun and you have a company that stands behind their product. Nuff said!!!

Glocks are fine weapons, I do think the G36 was a poor design though. My 19 ate everything and uber reliable, never had any issues. The G36 was the pickiest 45 I've ever owned but loved how concealable it was.

Like others, if Glock ever makes a single compact 9mm, I'd buy it tomorrow. Don't tell my buds on the SIG forum.

I have personally owned two, have shot ~18. My two personal gun I would gauge round counts in the 8-9K marks. If I were to rank the pistols in percentages on how reliable I would likely place them in the 90-96% with factory parts and mags. I have had stoppages, generally with junk ammo but I have seen them crop up from time to time with quality ball though, no real rhythm or reason to the malfunctions just occur and be cleared and run some more. With some lead ammo I have run through the guns I have seen accuracy degrade to patterns, but that was likely more to do with soft lead then anything. My gen 2 didn't like hollow point until we polished the feed ramps, my 3rd gen does throw brass in my face ever now and again. One Glcok 22 3rd gen with a weapon light was completely useless in that it would jam as many as 8 times in a mag. Now, with aftermarket mags in my 3rd gen i would rate reliability in the 70-80% range at best, some of the korean mags I have used would jam as often as every three rounds like clock work. I have had one before it was destroyed during training which would on the 14th round stovepipe like clockwork. I would not rate the platform as a 100% platform, a reliable platform, but no more reliable then other platforms I have used and trust, but no platform is 100% reliable or perfect, several things I would like to see changed in glock as it comes from the factory. Granted, this is going strictly by the ones I have shot.
