Have Some money to invest

I would like to grow my money and would like to have some input/ ideas (out of the box stuff) to make it grow. 5-6K initially. This is outside of 401k investments, ira normal stuff.

Cars seem to be hard to do with the new tax/tag fee and everybody is trying it anyway, any ideas?

Mortgage less than 5 years, so minimal interest. Only a little CC debt (zero percent for 15 more months, will be paid off way before then) No car notes. I'm looking to grow the money to avoid spending it on home improvments (Wife new kitchen, which leads to new bath room, which leads to new this or that- it never ends)

I have traditional 401k and roth 401k, ect... looking for outside the bow stuff

Not the best investment. More of a reliable vehicle to store wealth

I do suggest people get silver/gold, but not as an investment
