I've made $ in the stock market and still do, this money is seperate from that. CHK, OI, TGB are some from the past made a years salary in two weeks, back then the gov. short term investment tax rate was ridiculous, so I got out of day trading.
Invest in yourself. Start a side business, or go to school and learn a trade if you don't already have one.
Smith & Wesson revolvers seem to be following Colt revolvers through the roof.
Buy a case of AR ammo each month and wait for Hillary to be elected.

Ever heard of Bitcoin? It is a crypto-currency that is going through the roof, this is the off the wall idea you are looking for. Do some research and once you make a ridiculous amount of money you can throw me some as your financial adviser.
Bitcoins are dicey. A lot of governments have significant interest in making sure bitcoins never become a key currency, for the very same reasons bitcoin proponents want it to succeed.
Making good investments is already a tough topic. Choosing one where all of the major world governments have a vested interest in making sure it fails...that's a tall hurdle.

I started years ago with a 30 and made one extra payment each year. That would shave it down to a 22 year over the course of the loan.
