Look for unemployment to be on the rise soon. With the prices of everything going up, people can’t or won’t be going out to these places because of the high prices which will cause a lot of places to shut down.

Inflation has consequences.

Revenues will drop even in the face of increased amounts of individual transactions as regular working people (non leeches) withdraw from the economy. I used to eat in restaurants 4-5 times per week with friends and family. Now it's about twice per month. On the plus side, I've lost 20 lbs since July.

Fries are "da bomb." They're a once per year treat for me.

Covid scare made me a bit tentative tentative about eating out. I haven't been out to eat in a year. I don't miss it at all. Well I could use a meatball sub from Firehouse Subs. I cook my own hamburgers in the cast iron skillet and I only like mustard, onion, cheese and pickle so you really can't screw it up. Plus the fact that would cost me $15 to get to the nearest Five Guys so that's $35 Burger. I'll pass thank you.
