Have y’all been to Five Guys Inflation and Fries

Wife and I went there bout 10 years ago..no customers inside
Everyone was standing in a group talking, took 10 minutes to ask what we wanted....
Put our order in took 1 HOUR to get the food to the table, the buns were cold like they came out of a refrigerator, the meat was room temp and the fries actually had gelled grease on them from sitting so long and the cokes were flat...we left and have never even thought about going back inside another one...

At least 25 years since I've been to a burger King, McDonald's or a Wendy's.

Went to Star buks the other day…I know I know, spent 14$ on a sandwich, coffee and banana bread.

Really most all food is crazy currently, buying or cooking your spending a lot more that you was in previous years.

Fast food combos for two are 20-25 most everywhere. If you decent food it’s usually 40-50 for two. (If you get drinks, tip and pay the taxes).

I still want to know how everyplace is packed and Americans as a whole has stopped cooking a lot.

Has to be a point where demand falls due to pricing and people cook more.

Supposedly most Americans are eating out less due to higher prices. Also, when people got out, some people are choosing cheaper options. I’d imagine going out to eat frequently is a habit that will be difficult for some people to break, but credit card balances might curb that eventually.
