Well I had had one last season where I took my brand new Mathews creed into the woods climbed up my, tied in and starting waiting. And 20 minutes later I hear something and I turn, forgetting I had my bow in my lap and down my new creed goes. Haha so I climbed all the way down and felt so stupid I almost left. Luckily my bow was perfectly fine.

Hunted from dawn until mid afternoon didn't see a damn thing. Walk back to the truck and several deer are standing next to it. :frusty:

went out early one morning, got my stand, few deer pop out a few hours later, bring my rifle up.....aim......safety off......click! no boom :( i forgot to chamber a round after i got into the stand lol. and of course, all the deer hear the click and take off.

I walked almost half a mile to the stand one morning only to realize my gun was still in the truck. Guess I was still half asleep lol

I got turned around in some woods I hadn't hunted much a few years ago before I had a smart phone. The bad thing is I walked in that morning in the dark and walked right to the stand, I got lost in the daytime walking out.

13-14 yrs old, hunting on a 5 gal bucket with a single shot 20g in the planted pines. I fell asleep and woke up to see a doe 25 ft in front of me. I threw the gun up, pulled the hammer back, closed my eyes and pulled the tigger. When i open my eyes back up, the deer was gone and a chunk of a pine tree was missing. I've gotten a little better in my older years.

13 years old, first deer hunt ever, doe walks out behind my ladder stand, I turn and stand up on ladder to shoot, 12 gauge knocks me off the ladder, but I got the deer. This past season I walked over halfway to my stand(almost a 1/4 mile) before I realized I'd left my release for my bow in the car. Also this year, last weekend of season I was sitting in my climber and decided to get down a few minutes early in hopes of seeing a deer on the way back to the car, as soon as I got to the bottom of the tree I heard something behind me and turned around just in time to see a deer running away.
