Hawk Takes a Dove at Our Bird Feeder

Security Camera caught this. Was nothing left except a pile of feathers. It plucked the dove clean.

Had one hit a dove right in front of me in Chattooga last year. Was running about 50 at the time. Hawk and dove both attempted to gain quick altitude, dove succeeded, hawk failed. Thought it was going to break the windshield when we hit it.
