Been shaving my head for years and found the BEST stuff for it is cheap hair conditioner - NOT shaving cream. Give it a shot and you'll be a believer as well. I use it when I have my face as well.

I have been shaving my melon for 18 years now. Ivory soap while in the shower daily. If you need the high gloss on it for some reason then skip a day and shave. Otherwise a nice warm shower and some ivory soap is all it takes. I prefer to use the old Shick tracer FX. Although they don't call it that anymore. It is now disposable handled and flexes in the middle. Gives a good close shave on a round head.

I always use clippers with no guard, tried shaving and just end up with a head full of razor bumps, any suggestions?

I don't want to devote the time to shave with a razor but I cut mine every week using clippers with no guard.

Same here. Been doing that for 10 years now. In another 2 or 3, I won't need the clippers anymore...at least for the top half dagumit.
