I have read this ammo is safe in the m1 garand anyone know if it's TRUE it comes on 5 round strip clips I got a pretty good deal on it I am hoping it's ok.

CORROSIVE... clean accordingly... the biggest concern is how it has been stored and if it will go bang...
About 4 out of 100 had black on the bullet or casing the rest looked new . It was in bandaleros on strip clips I pulled it and out it in a ammo can.
I paid about 50 cent a round
