My wife and I have basically decided to homeschool our son. It’s a decision that takes a lot of consideration. He’s about to be 5. I know it will be very challenging, but I’m not secure turning his loose into the world and messed up school system/society.

If you can, homeschooling is the best thing you can do for your child. Lots of crazy stuff going on in public schools these days you don't want them exposed to!

Great idea, we homeschooled after learning about the sex acts on the bus - in middle school! Oh and the classroom that had to be shut down for 2 days to clean all the blood from a couple of girls getting in a fight with knives, and the boys not wanting to use the restrooms b/c you had to fight in order to take a piss.
Unbelievable, but true.
Norcoss middle school, in a nice part of town, not ghetto. But still a ****show.

Yup. I don't see schools getting better anytime soon either!
