Anyone know of a Heat Shield that will fit a Mossberg 930 shotgun? Mossberg says they don't make them, even though they offer two versions of the 930 that comes with one.

This is not for home defense is it!? Heat shields suck for home defense! Makes the shotgun more heavy than it is already
Anyone know of a Heat Shield that will fit a Mossberg 930 shotgun? Mossberg says they don't make them, even though they offer two versions of the 930 that comes with one.
There have been several discussions about this over the years on both shotgunworld & the mossbergowners forums (among others). I'm not sure if there was ever a solution found. Atioutdoors.com has a "Classic Shotgun Heatshield" that appears to be somewhat universal, but I have no idea if it can be made to fit.
Aimpro Tactical makes a heatshield for the 590A1 hheavy barrel. I've read that it will fit the 930 if yours is a heavy barrel version.

My original plan was to buy a 930 with the Breacher Barrel & Heatshield for home defense, but my plans got sidetracked last year.
