Was this amendment in the original docs or did it come out with 41F? I think I'm ready for my first post 41 purchase - what do I need to do?

It appears, the amendment removes and revokes all trustees from the Trust. The instructions say, "You may shred this amendment upon approval of the NFA application."
Does this mean that the trustees are off the Trust until the stamp comes back in about a year (based on current processing times)?

That is correct. The only other option would be to complete a change of co-trustee amendment listing only the co-trustees that will submit fingerprints and pictures.
