I have a PSA “premium” bolt from 2014 that has a lot of rounds (couple of thousand I would estimate) with no issues other than replacing the gas rings when they wouldn’t support the weight of the carrier when it was stood up on the bolt face.

The problem with PSA is that you never know what the **** you’re getting. The “standard” BCG is different than the “freedom” BCG which is different than the “premium.”

Heck the premiums from different years even appear to be made by different suppliers.


They’re difficult to trust until you’ve put $400 worth of ammo down range with no issues.
